Description

This device is used for various applications, including testing cables, newly installed joints before commissioning, motors, capacitors, switchgear, insulators, and any material requiring dielectric tests up to 25 kV DC. It is also employed for routine testing of cables already in service.

The HVC-Test25 insulation tester is designed to provide maximum protection for both the operator and the instrument, as well as ease of operation. Thanks to its powerful firmware, it performs tests automatically, records the measured parameters over time, and allows them to be downloaded to a USB memory for later analysis on a PC. Functionally, the administrator mode, which is pass word-protected, enables or disables functions available in the user mode, such as selecting the output voltage at pre-set values, test duration, ramp speed, and more.

Its robust construction allows it to operate in the most adverse climatic conditions, with components conservatively rated to ensure maximum reliability in operation.
