The HVC-FL1 is a compact system for testing and fault location in low and medium voltage cables. The TS80R reflectometer features the most advanced pre-location methods, including TDR and IF-TDR (Time Domain Reflection and Intermittent TDR), ICE (Impulse Current), ARM and M-ARM (Arc Reflection Method and Multiple ARM), and DECAY (Voltage Decay).

With its energy peak of 2048J across four ranges—4, 8, 16, and 32 kV (1024J — 3072J optional)—it provides the necessary power to accurately detect cable faults using the acoustic method with the RPF A/I fault pinpointing device. The powerful high-voltage source allows testing at any voltage level between 0 and 32 kV.
