The HVC-FL is a portable testing and fault location system for low and medium voltage cables.
The powerful ARM (Arc Reflection Method) included in the Reflectometer PreLocate is used for the pre-location of high resistance faults in any of the three ranges (8-16-32 kV) of the shockwave impulse generator.

Description
An energy peak of 1100J (2048J optional) provides the necessary power to precisely pinpoint cable faults using the acoustic method in conjunction with the RPF A/I fault pinpointing device.
The powerful high-voltage source allows testing at any voltage level up to 32kV. Its large wheels make the unit suitable for fieldwork with ease. The grounding, power, and high voltage terminals are located at the back of the unit for easy operator access.
